Statistics are usually hardly comparable. Cheese or cylinder statistics, color bars… are used to reflect subjective realities.
Subjectivity comes from the fact that neither the premises are the same nor the results are evaluated using the same criteria. In our centre, the statistics that we are required to report by law to Generalitat (that keeps the register called FIV-CAT) are compiled. We compare ourselves with the figures of Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF) and with European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE).
From this comparison we determine that our results are good, comparable to the highest, and even beating European statistics.
